Who We Are...

Go therefore and make disciples...

Our Story...

Ours is the story of more than a hundred years in the life of a church. Of small bands of “strangers in a foreign land,’ who found themselves cast upon an island, a new continent, sometimes an ocean away from their point of origin.
First Reformed Church is a gathering of immigrants, refugees, servicemen, tradesmen, farmers, teachers and artisans. What has brought each of us to Oak Harbor is different, but in coming together as a family of refugees, we find fellowship in our Savior Jesus and what he has done for us.

The Mission

The mission of FRC Oak Harbor is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Vision

The vision of FRC Oak Harbor is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.

The preschool here is amazing!.... My two oldest kids have gone through 4 preschools between the two of them, and this was by far my favorite and the only one my daughter cried about leaving (graduating and going to kindergarten)!  My daughter grew to love arts and crafts so much she wants to be an artist when she grows up.  My youngest will be starting the fabulous frog class this September
