Who We Are

A People, Seeking to Follow Jesus in this World...
as Family.

Although it may seem impossible to believe, God has not abandoned you.  He has not abandoned us.  Through all of the pain and the suffering that we see around us, the one thing that we can count on is GOD.  Whether you have been here for generations or have been pulled to Whidbey Island from the outer reaches of the globe, you can count on a GOD that has a plan for your life, a GOD that desires to be in relationship with YOU.
At First Reformed Church, our vision is to show people, to show you how God seeks to restore you to Himself and through that restoration, provide a hope for the glory to come.  A hope that was made possible through Jesus Christ.  First Reformed Church seeks to be a "family on mission" whose intention is to demonstrate how we can live in community with one another while connecting with God through prayer, study of His word and service to the community at large.  The Bible calls this being a disciple.
If you are in need of Hope, if you are in need of genuine relationship with others that has a foundation in something real, we would invite you to reach out.  The God of the universe has not abandoned you.  He has sent His people to be in community with you.
Sincerely,
First Reformed Church

The Mission

The mission of FRC Oak Harbor is the same mission Jesus gave his followers: Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.

The Vision

The vision of FRC Oak Harbor is create a community of authentic believers and to witness a city transformed by the life changing reality of the gospel, as people come to know Jesus as their lord and savior.

The preschool here is amazing!.... My two oldest kids have gone through 4 preschools between the two of them, and this was by far my favorite and the only one my daughter cried about leaving (graduating and going to kindergarten)!  My daughter grew to love arts and crafts so much she wants to be an artist when she grows up.  My youngest will be starting the fabulous frog class this September
